Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has warned the United States about the consequences of its attacks on vital and critical infrastructure of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a post on his X network on Saturday evening, Araghchi wrote that "the US committed a blatant and desperate crime by attacking a freshwater desalination plant on Qeshm Island," adding the attack impacted water supply in 30 villages on the island.
"Attacking Iran's infrastructure is a dangerous move with grave consequences, the top diplomat warned, arguing that "the US set this precedent, not Iran."
Since the start of their aggression against Iran, the United States and Israel have, intentionally and indiscriminately, targeted civilian facilities, including residential areas, hospitals, schools, relief centers, markets, diplomatic police outposts, and historical sites.
